The archive drawers

Under the studio there are eight flat-file drawers of work from before we sold anything at all. Studies, false starts, pieces the maker would not part with. Once a season we open them.

Why it is not online

Most of it is not for sale, some of it is not finished, and a lot of it only makes sense next to the piece that came after. It is a room to stand in, not a gallery to scroll.

Small group. Six people, because that is how many fit around the drawers.
