Inside the Kigali studio

We are a place, not only a website. The collection lives in a converted house in Kiyovu, and most mornings somebody is working in it — stretching a canvas, sorting beads, arguing about a colour.

What you will see

The front two rooms hold what is currently for sale. The back is a working studio, which means it is not tidy, and that is the part worth seeing.

• The pieces currently on the walls, and who they belong to

• The back studio, mid-work, with whatever is drying

• The archive drawers — older work that never goes online

Practical

We send the exact address and directions when your visit is confirmed. Twenty minutes from Kigali International Airport by car, and there is parking on the street.

Come with questions. The people here would much rather talk about the work than watch you walk past it.
