A long table dinner

Once a season we clear the front room, put one long table down the middle of it, and sit twenty-four people at it under whatever is hanging.

The food

Cooked by the kitchen at the craft house in Nyamirambo. Four courses, mostly vegetables, all of it shared down the middle.

The seating

You do not choose it. Half the point of a long table is who you end up beside.
